The Adam-God Doctrine
In several sermons we have recorded in the Journal of discourses, as well as in some private journals, an interesting and unique doctrine is put forth. Many of us have heard anti-mormons refer to the Adam-God doctrine, but few of us pay it much mind. After all, it can't actually be true, can it? In this article, we'll look in to that very question.

Celestial Plural Marriage
There have been so many theories put forth recently to exlain why Joseph Smith ever began the practice of Polygamy. The Church no longer lives it, and yet, the Prophet was willing to lay down his life for it. In his day, the Prophet taught that there was no way a man could be saved in the Celestial Kingdom without it. Is this truly and extinct doctrine? Will it one day be practiced again? Is it possible that this principle is till preserved in righteousness?

The Law of Consecration
What did God intend for this doctrine when it was revealed to Joseph Smith? Was it meant to be a test of the people, or was it a commandment that we are still meant to live to the best of our abilities? And how would someone go about living it? Are there people who live this principle today?
In the end, what makes these doctrines different, what makes the teachings of the Prophets "true Mormonism" is love. All of these doctrines are roote din love, and are put in place to teach us love. That is why living without them can feel so empty for many Fundamentalists. Love is what makes Fundamentalism so fundamental.

Those of us with a history in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints know how essential the doctrine of a living, modern-day prophet who can reveal God's will for the Church is. But how do you know a true Prophet? The same way you know anything: Prayer, and comparing it to the Scriptures. Thankfully, God has given us some signs that a prophet truly is from Him. Coming soon, I will be listing these here.
